OUR ETHICS & VALUES
We strive for our business-level decision making to reflect how we live our company values, demonstrate responsibility in our behaviors, and implement our Ethics Code relative to the expectations of our own employees and wider stakeholders. Creating an ethical and transparent workplace is a paramount concern for BSP, for which we have established parameters for a locally relevant Code of Conduct aligned to values espoused by our parent company, Packages Limited.
Public disclosure is integral to our efforts towards greater transparency. BSP is a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact, and as member of the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange (SEDEX), offers itself for the Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit every year. We report regularly on our social and environmental progress to the Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and through annual monitoring reports submitted to the World Bank’s Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA). BSP’s Code of Conduct is the core document governing our ethics philosophy. A number of custom tools facilitate stakeholders in understanding our ethical standards. Compliance is further strengthened through our Code of Conduct training’s for our staff, vendors and service providers. When stakeholders sign the BSP Code of Conduct they become equal partners in our efforts to ensure compliance with our management, technical and operational values and standards.
